The anticipation is killing me...

Starting on saturday the 28th until Febuary 11th, I am having specials for children for Valentine's Day!

I asked a friend if her daughter could model a new Owl Hat for me/promote the Valentine shoots.

hehe, I love it. Plus I had just gotten my new wood floor drop so I was stoked to put it to use right away!

It was entertaining watching her try to sneak eating the petals haha

Dont her eyes make your heart melt?

Now the pearls were certainly a cute touch, until she was constantly putting them in her mouth

We would take them out...and back in they would go...

hehe, what a face!

Finally Snow

I have been waiting for it to snow and actually stick so that I could finally take pictures of Kami and Matt!

&yay it did snow!!! Today we went to Kennedy and we were so lucky it wasnt Fuhhh-reezing!

They said they were not "good" at doing the "serious" face...I beg to differ, I love it!

They sure were troopers runnin all around in the snow..

Adorable Sisters

Kharma and Kadence are the names of these sisters.

The funniest thing ever, Kharma was sitting patiently waiting to hold her sister as she was getting fed...and as soon as her mom brought Kadence over and put her down in her lap Kharma says "I have to pee!!!!" haha

Kharma is so funny, she told me numerous stories and talked so fast I had no idea what she was saying...she is sooooooooo cute!!!

Crazy how much personality a little girl can have! :)

Her baby sister Kadence is just as precious.

The next photo makes me laugh so hard....call me immature, but I was dying when I saw this because there is a whole series of pictures like this and I did not notice while I was shooting..

Having a studio is a lifesaver when its poopy outside!

The weather today in Iowa....was definitely NOT lovely....we have rain, slick roads and the whole works.

I was kind of bummed to not be able to go anywhere today...BUT the plus side is I got to hang out with a lil` cutie named Kinley!

I have two cats...and normally I have to lock them in the bathroom so they are not clinging to my clients....but Kinley liked the kitties so I let them walk around..it was so hilarious instead of petting them she'd poke them real quick and then jump back :)

We had Kinley's dad take some pics with her..instead of giving him a kiss this is what she did...haha

In the next picture she made this face, as she did pretty much the entire time..her parents informed me it was not normal for her to do so I found that entertaining..and so cute

A wonderful Day for Birthday Cake!

I had two sessions of two beautiful little girls who turned the big "1"!

First was cutie patootie Makenna!

She was sooo fun! Mom and Dad told her to blow kisses...

I love it!

Shortly after Makenna left with an awesome sugar buzz, little Preslie showed up!

She didn't quit know what to think when she first got to my house...but she adapted pretty quickly.

Her mommy wanted to be in some with her too..I just adore her face in this..

We had to bribe her with the Gerber Graduates Puffs pretty much the whole time..this next one was soooo funny its probably one of my favorites!

As you can see in the next photo we tried to hide them under the boa..

Yay for birthday cake! She was not hesitant to shove her hand in the cake as soon as it was in front of her.

Babies make me happy!

I had a lovely session today with such a sweet baby. Her name is Kara.

She's beautiful! She was posing the whole time it seemed....

& making so many adorable facial expressions.

Kara is a very happy baby which made my job so easy!

Tay&Gid | Cutest Couple Ever

Yesterday I had realized I might be shooting engagements indoors and what-not so I asked two of my favorite love birds to come model for me to see what all I could pull off in the tight space!

They are so cute!!!

They brought "Tank" and he is such an adorable pup! He did pretty good, I just have to share the cutest moment when Gideon had him "shake"!
